  8. Electroless Copper Plating: Chemically depositing a thin layer of conductive copper onto the insulating hole walls.

  9. Outer Layer Pattern Transfer: Transferring the outer layer circuit pattern onto the panel.

  10. Outer Layer Etching: Removing the excess copper from the outer layers to form the final circuits.

  11. Outer Layer AOI: Using Automated Optical Inspection again to verify the quality of the outer layer circuits.

  12. Solder Mask: Applying a protective solder mask ink over the board surface to protect the circuits and prevent solder bridges.

  13. Silkscreen: Printing component identifiers, polarity markers, and company logos onto the board surface.

  14. Surface Finish: Chemically coating the exposed solder pads to prevent oxidation and ensure solderability.

  15. Routing / Profiling: Cutting the panel into individual boards of the required shape and size using a router or mold.

  16. Electrical Test: Using testing fixtures to verify circuit continuity and insulation, ensuring electrical performance.

  17. Final Visual Inspection: A final manual check of the board’s appearance, dimensions, and overall quality.

  18. Packaging: Cleaning the boards and packaging them in a vacuum seal to prevent oxidation and contamination during storage and transport.
